Hazel Mae Lee
Hazel Lee passed away peacefully on Jan. 26, 2017 with her family by her side at Red Oak Health and Rehab.
She was born on July 21, 1929 in Mississippi County, Missouri. Hazel worked at the Dallas County Health Department and Southern Pacific Railroad. She loved reading, watching Dallas Cowboy football and taking care of her family, friends and animals.
Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Lee, and son, William (Billy) Lee. She is survived by 1 brother, Alfred Baker; 2 sisters, Bobbie Cortivo and Rita Walker; 2 daughters Darlene Lee and Kathy Harrington and husband, Linny and numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
A farewell service led by Pastor Jack Ables of Eastridge Baptist Church will be held at DFW National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation, Eastridge Baptist Church of Red Oak or the Ferris Public Library.
