Edward Daniel Auger
Edward Daniel Auger passed away peacefully at his home in Ferris, Texas on Thursday, July 19, 2018, joining his wife Karen and his Lord and Savior at the age of 75. Born in Oakland, California on March 9, 1943, he is lovingly remembered and survived by his three children: Kathryn Shade, Debora Morgan, and Matthew Auger and their spouses, his grandchildren: Christian, Brandon, Ben, Tyler, Caden, Brayden and Abigail, and his first great-grandchild, Jackson.
Since retiring from JCPenney after 35 years, Ed enjoyed family and friends, dancing, playing bridge, tennis, card games, visits to the Choctaw Nation, and photography. As an active member of the Plano Photography Club, he held various offices including President. Recently, Ed was appointed to the Ferris Chamber of Commerce.
A celebration of life will be on Saturday, August 11 at 2:00 at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, 7990 President George Bush Turnpike, Dallas, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to The Ed Auger Memorial Scholarship, that will be granted to a motivated Photography student.
