Oliverio Olivares, 82 of Red Oak passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on May 5, 2015 in Dallas. He was born on July 18, 1932, in Mexico to Jesus and Pabla Olivares. He lived the past 70 years of his life in Ferris. Oliverio was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Oliverio worked most of his life as a farmer and loved it. He was a lifetime member of St. Johns Catholic Church.
He is survived by his 6 sons Roy and wife Rosa Olivarez of Waxahachie, Richard Olivarez of Dallas, Roel Olivarez of Red Oak, Ramiro Olivarez of Waxahachie, Michael and wife Amy Olivarez of Rowlett, Omar Olivarez of Waxahachie and 4 daughters Elizabeth and husband Jay Canafax of Waxahachie, Yolanda and husband Florentino Jimenez of Red Oak, Michelle Arbaiza of Mesquite, and Crystal Olivarez of Ferris. He has 21 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by the love of his life Maria Ana Olivarez.
Visitation for family and friends was held on May 7, 2015 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. with the rosary following at 7:30 pm. A service was held at 10 a.m. in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel on May 8, 2015. Arrangements are under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie. www.waynebozefuneralhome.com.
