Billy Tom White, 80, passed away in Waxahachie, Texas on Monday, June 16, 2014.
Billy was born in Mt. Calm, Texas on Oct. 11, 1933 to Harry Thomas and Margie Lucille (Growl) White. He grew up in Lott, Texas and graduated from Lott High School in 1952. On June 27, 1954 he married Barbara Goodnight and they made their home in Lott until 1956 then they moved to Seguin, then to Dallas in 1957 and finally to Ferris in 1969.
He was the owner and operator of B.B. White Services for over 40 years.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ferris. He loved to help people to do land management.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara White of Ferris; sons: Thomas White of Waxahachie and Travis White of Ferris; daughter, Edith Ritchey and husband, Joe of Ferris; seven grandchildren: six great-grandchildren and two sisters: Linda Fox of Pilot Point and Wanda Hibbetts of Weatherford.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church of Ferris with Rev. Gene Ratchiff officiating. www.jekeevermortuary.com
