Our beloved mother Geneva Irene Landis, 81, went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 18, 2014. Geneva lived in Waxahachie for 25 years. She was born in Cooper Gap Township, N.C. on March 30, 1933.
Geneva is survived by two daughters, Sybil Vasquez and Debra and her husband Dwayne Goodman and two sons, Landy and his wife Anna Fincannon and Jim Fincannon, as well as six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and eight great- great grandchildren.
Our Mother loved to volunteer her time to The Ellis County Meals on Wheels. Anyone wishing to honor her memory may do so by donating to a local meals on Wheels or a Local Food Bank.
